What is your morning routine? List it out in as much detail as you can and estimate how much time you spend on each step? Are there steps that could be done the night before?
Hello friends,
Over the last few months, I’ve been working a lot on my mindfulness. Something I’ve noticed is that the more tired I am, the more likely I am to make choices that I regret later or not really make choices at all.
Establishing habit and routine has really helped me, especially when it comes to making choices around food. If I have set myself up for success, for example by meal planning and prepping, I am much more likely to grab the food I’ve prepared for myself rather than making a different choice.
The same holds true for any situation where I need to make choices. By planning out my morning (and to some degree the evening before) I set myself up for success. When I am too tired to make good choices, I try to not have to make choices at all.

I hope that taking a good look at what your mornings are currently like and then thinking about how you might want to adjust them to better serve you leads to a better, more restful and invigorating start to your days!
